Alongside a 77 Bedroom nursing home scheme also prepared by Harniss for Avery, this scheme included the application, design and installation of 8 self-contained assisted living apartments. 

The development included the strip out and refurbishment of an existing building, carving up a designation of 8 individual spaces and incorporating internal lifts for the future residents.

This scheme although not reviewed under sustainable performance, involved the base sentiments of good sustainability. 

These retirement living apartments were redevelopments of existing buildings, retaining the main structural elements with clever sympathetic restoration works and material choice.
