Situated on Russet Close in the picturesque market town of Godmanchester, Saxon Manor Care Home has been purpose-built to provide residential, dementia and respite care to the highest quality standards. It benefits from the beautiful natural scenery, which includes a 59-acre nature reserve and wonderful meadows, lots of shops and amenities, and excellent public transport links (via the nearby Huntingdon railway station).

Under the early engagement of our consultancy practice, the design team were advised upon high performing U-values and this was successful achieved through collaboration with the Architectural team and Harniss.  The team also allowed for enhanced measures to mitigate overheating and ensure good internal thermal comfort.  The overall HEVAC solution of Gas fired CHP and LTHW boilers met the Part L 2013 requirements, demonstrating a 29.6tCO2 annual saving over and above building regulations.
