The details

A coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Holland Park, London, England. This school has capacity for over 1,500 pupils.

Holland Park School has been designed with long-term resilience in mind – lowering energy consumption, maintenance costs and improving comfort.

Employing architectural shading features with external louvres to minimise solar gain and glare, the atrium promotes natural ventilation and encourages daylight to enter through the building.

Working under the BREEAM 2018 New Construction this scheme successfully secured a BREEAM Very Good rating.  Incorporating various measures including highly efficient energy performance, good natural ventilation and the use of natural daylight. 

All contributing to an improved working environment, promoting good health and wellbeing for the students and staff, cycle provisions, water conservation and reduced impact level of pollution.
