This project is a live and fully operational care home. The works are carefully organised and co-ordinated around the general day to day running of the facility. Particular attention is dutifully executed to reducing noise impact and disruption to the tenants and staff.
Nazareth House Hammersmith is currently undergoing phased refurbishment programme to meet modern care needs and to provide an outstanding home for residents to live in and staff to work in.
The house is being completely renovated to provide all bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms and most rooms enlarged with wider corridors and many facilities relocated to make them easier to access.
Although not targeted to any sustainability performance criteria, the works involved do apply new low energy lighting improvements and upgrades to heating provisions. These combined improvements contribute to the overall energy consumption of the building and assets energy performance rating.
All improvements to operation energy use help lower stranded building risks and improve ESG reporting on net zero compliance.
