This is an exciting opportunity for an Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join the Harniss team during a period of growth for the business. The role will support the Director of Energy and Sustainability Services and Senior Assessors.
The role will involve working closely with the Building Services Consultancy division and Contract teams to provide a first-class service to our clients.
Ability to self-manage work load and of others. Works will be across the UK and remote working will be required as part of the role. Where and when possible using the two office locations will be available and encouraged.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Providing a key advisory service to Harniss clients in respect to their ESG targets:
Conducting BREEAM in Use assessments
Supporting with BREEAM advice
Conducting BREEAM support tasks (Daylighting/ Overheating/ LCA Etc)
Preparing commercial and succinct reports for issue to clients
Attending site visits across the UK to assess and advise on all ESG matters
Proficient in the use of IES/TAS/GiSBEM/SBEM/Design Builder
Provide technical ESG support and advice to all Harniss internal teams
Providing support to the Senior Assessors and Director of Energy and Sustainability
Skills and experience
M&E background / knowledge
Energy Institute or CIBSE Member (preffered but not required)
Domestic and Commercial Energy Assessor (preffered but not required)
ESOS assessor (not essential)
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
